The Bailey Creek Golf Course Women’s Club reported that members were proud to present a $1,200 scholarship to Faith Oswald, golf team player and graduate of Chester Junior-Senior High School.
Oswald met and exceeded the criteria put forth in the application and will be attending University of Arizona to pursue a career in nursing, report club members.
Organizers say the scholarship was made possible by generous donations from sponsors for the women’s club invitational held in June.
