The Plumas County Bar Association announces its 2024 scholarship competition. The bar association has given scholarships to local high school seniors since 2001 based on a competition involving an essay contest as well as the student’s academic achievements and activities. Details concerning this contest will be released in the coming months, the association reports.
Comprised of practicing and retired lawyers in Plumas County, the PCBA strives to meet the professional needs of Plumas County lawyers, advance the administration of justice and assist the community which members serve.
The bar association has named its scholarship the Alice M. King Plumas County Bar Association Scholarship in an expression of gratitude for the legal and community work of longtime Plumas County lawyer Alice King.
