Sept. 11: Wednesday Play Day
On Wednesday, Sept. 11, 22 Graeagle Men’s Golf Association players competed in a format called In the Box, plus skins. First place was won by John Mitchel and Jim Reynolds with a net score of 76. Second place was won by the team of Andy Knudson and Mike Quesenberry with a net score of 77. Third place was won by the team of Bob Laxaque and Jack Gilbert with a net score of 78. Fourth place was won by the team of Dan Anderson and Don Judson with a net score of 89.
There were seven skins awarded: two to Mike Quesenberry with a net 2 on the 10th hole and a net 2 on the 13th hole, and one each to Grant Mayfield with a net 2 on the fourth hole, Mark Yuill with a net 3 on the seventh hole, Jack Gilbert with a net 2 on the 14th hole, Jim Oster with a net 3 on the 11th hole, and Andy Knudson with a net 4 on the 18th hole.
Sept. 12: Women’s club championship, second round
On Sept. 12, 18 Graeagle Meadows Women’s Golf Club members competed in the second round of their annual club championship game. The first round was played Sept. 5. The low gross scorer over the two rounds is crowned the club champion.
The club congratulates 2024 Club Champion Debbie Fuetsch, whose two-round score of 161 was low gross over the field. Runner-up Darlene Gibaut scored 185.

Susan Anderson and Lois Childress each had one chip-in. Round two was followed by an awards luncheon at the Restaurant at Graeagle Meadows.
Sept. 13, 15: Men’s club championship
The 2024 Graeagle Men’s Golf Association Club Championship was held Friday, Sept. 13, and Sunday, Sept. 15.
The overall club champion was Mario Garibotti with the gross score of 79-79:158. The overall net club champion was Mark Yuill with a net score of 77-68:145, who won in a card off over Nate Coats, who had the same combined score.
In first place in the super senior net division was Grant Mayfield, with a net score of 70-64:134. Second place went to Bob Laxaque with a net score of 71-76:147.
