Ballots set to be mailed Oct. 7

Ballots for the Nov. 5 general election will be mailed Monday, Oct. 7, reports the Plumas County Elections Division.

Those who are not currently registered to vote for this election can do so by filling out a new voter registration card, or by registering online at http://www.registertovote.ca.gov. The deadline to register for this election is Oct. 21.

Elections personnel emphasize that people can contact the elections office at any time should they have any questions concerning their voter registration and/or the election process. The office telephone number is 530-283-6256, and they also welcome folks into their courthouse office at 520 Main St., Room 102, in Quincy. The also encourage people to visit them on Facebook for up-to-date information.
