Oct. 16 Cross County Tournament
As the song says, “Into Each Life Some Rain Must Fall”… and that is how the day began with the Graeagle Men’s Golf Association 2024 Cross Country Tournament, according to organizers. The rain did not deter the 39 men and 20 women from competing on the Graeagle Meadows “Orange Course” in pursuit of the 2024 Cross Country title. The sun broke through the second half of the day and brought the golfers home with the following results:

Oct. 23: Wednesday Play Day
The Graeagle Men’s Golf Association reports that members took to the links Oct. 23rd for one of the last times this season. A chilly morning was quickly replaced by a warm day with light to medium wind gusts. The game was individual golf (net score) with skins. Chuck Franck led the 14-player field with a sizzling 64, followed by Dan Anderson with a 68, and Nate Coats with a 69. Seven skins were won by the following players:
- Grant Mayfield -2 on hole 2 & 2 on hole 14 (two skins)
- Mike Heath-1 on hole 3
- Norm Nichols-2 on hole 7
- Nate Coats-1 on hole 8
- Anthony Miranda-3 on hole 10
- Chuck Franck-3 on hole 11
