Seneca Healthcare District has appointed Shanna Roelofson as the new Director of Human Resources. Roelofson has a background in healthcare, employee recruitment, development and engagement, the SDH said.
Originally from Orland, California, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from CSU Chico. Roelofson began her healthcare career at Oroville Hospital in 2011 as the Director of Marketing and has spent the last 13 years there, most recently serving as the Director of Human Resources and Business Development. Roelofson and her family recently relocated to the Lake Almanor area.
“I am thrilled to join the Seneca Healthcare District team and look forward to becoming part of the Chester community, where I hope my family and I can contribute and grow together,” said Roelofson.
Outgoing HR Director Jennie Mathews said, “I am thrilled that Shanna Roelofson will be taking over my position at Seneca and continuing to create a positive culture and work environment. Shanna brings progressive responsibility and a strong foundation of Human Resources knowledge to the role, and I am sure that she will continue to uphold the strong relationship that Seneca has with the community.”
Roelofson officially joined the team at Seneca Healthcare District Oct. 21, 2024.
