The Feather River Co-op board announced its Breakfast with the Board, Dec. 7, at the new Dragonfly Café, 461 Main St., Quincy. The hour-long breakfast meeting begins at 9 a.m., with doors opening at 8:50 a.m. The event is open to co-op members.
The agenda includes discussion of the co-op’s 2025 goals, including introduction of the Women, Infants & Children Program to the co-op’s business model. While such a move would make the co-op more accessible to the community, it would mean a change in buying policies. More information will be available soon.
Plumas Crisis Intervention and Resource Center has remodeled and revitalized the Main Street storefront space in Quincy formerly occupied by Pangea. The café supports local at-risk people with training, vocational education and workforce development. The goal is to create pathways to employment for those facing challenges in securing stable jobs.
The co-op asks interested members of the public to R.S.V.P. before Nov. 25, by visiting its website to reserve a place.
