Plumas District Hospital Heath Foundation will sponsor the Quincy Community Supper at 6 p.m. Dec. 11 at at the Methodist Church on Jackson St. in Quincy.
Instead of being held on Dec. 25, the fourth Wednesday of the month, the second supper will be held Dec. 18. The usual schedule has been changed to accommodate Christmas day. The second and fourth Wednesdays of the month schedule will resume in January.
The Community Supper program began in 2002. A rotation of churches, businesses, civic groups, schools and offices host a supper throughout the year. There is no charge and the entire community is invited to attend at 6 p.m. at the Methodist Church.
PDH foundation hosted the Quincy Community Supper Nov. 27, when they served 98 meals of roast turkey with all the trimmings.
