Celebrate the season with food for a good cause. The Plumas Crisis Intervention and Resource Center extends invitations to its holiday fundraiser dinner at Dragonfly Café, on Main St. in Quincy.
The event is set for Saturday, Dec. 14, with two exclusive seatings at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
This isn’t just dinner; it’s an experience! Renowned local chef Gary Cerpovicz will serve guests with a four-course dining extravaganza, featuring options that include prime rib, blackened salmon and pasta primavera. Each entrée is paired with an amuse-bouche, a choice of soup or salad and a decadent dessert. A curated selection of wine and beer will be available for purchase to make the evening even more festive.
Tickets are $75 per person and seating is limited. To reserve a spot visit www.pcirc.com/holidayfundraiser. A response will confirm the entrée choice.
Tickets to the Dragonfly Café holiday dinner support second chances for at-risk individuals. All proceeds go toward operating the Café’s mission to uplift at-risk individuals through vocational training, workforce development and entrepreneurship education. The café will provide prepared meals for the homeless, support the PCIRC Food Pantry Project, and offer fresh farm-to-table options via a community garden. Future plans include gourmet meal programs for seniors and disabled residents, along with the launch of unique, locally crafted food products.
Celebrate the season of giving by reserving a seat for this evening, which promises to include a night of fine dining that makes a meaningful impact on the lives of others in the community.
