Tintabulations performs at Sierra Christian Church Dec. 15

Tintabulations, a community handbell ensemble based in Reno, Nevada, presents its winter concert, “O, Biggest Little Town,” at Sierra Christian Church in Beckwourth, Dec. 15 at 1:30 p.m.

Tintabulations will also perform two additional concerts:

  • Dec. 14, 1 p.m., Churchill County Museum, 1050 S. Maine St., Fallon, Nevada.
  • Dec. 15, 7 p.m., Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 357 Clay St., Reno, Nevada.

Barb Walsh started Tintabulations with a group of high school students. The group has since grown to include ringers from around northern Nevada and California. In addition to performing at the Handbell Musicians of America national conference, the ensemble regularly appears with the Reno Pops Orchestra and the Reno Philharmonic.

Since its founding in 1996, Tintabulations has pushed the boundaries of traditional handbell performance, appearing throughout the West Coast. The handbell concert presents modern arrangements of classic holiday songs. Tintabulations musicians will share personal holiday stories as part of the performance.

All performances are free. However, Tintabulations appreciates any donations. For more information, visit tintabulations.com.
