Russ, your family wants you to know that we will forever feel the immeasurably positive impact you had on all of our lives. We will always recall your passion for golf, your infectious cheer, and the way you lifted others’ spirits with a simple smile, a kind word, and your quick wit. You were our friend, our confidante, the one we could always count on for a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on. You showed us the meaning of strength, resilience, and unwavering dedication to family. You are our inspiration. Your love for ice cream and sweets was also legendary, a playful indulgence that mirrored your playful spirit.
You are the heart and foundation of our family. You were a loving father, a devoted husband and partner, a compassionate caregiver, and a nurturing presence that brought warmth and comfort to all who knew you. Your legacy extends far beyond your immediate family; your generosity of spirit touched so many lives. You were a cornerstone of your community, a source of unwavering support, and endless laughter.
We will forever cherish your memory, value the lessons you taught us, and hold you close with every scoop of chocolate ice cream we enjoy and every round of golf we play. Your love and the imprint you left on our hearts will remain with us always. We love you.
We would also like to thank the caregivers at Creekside Assisted & Senior Living in Bountiful for their warmth, love, and devotion to our dad and his care.
