Search and rescue personnel have recovered the body of missing fisherman Leonardo Mikelonis, of Sparks, Nev., who went missing Jan. 28, while fishing on the Middle Fork near Mabie.
A caller to the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office Communications center reported Mikelonis Jan. 28. Emergency personnel could not locate Mikelonis by the end of the afternoon. Search teams renewed their efforts in the early morning hours, Jan. 28.
