Long-time Quincy resident Joanne Kibbee passed away peacefully in Bandon, Oregon, Jan. 29, 2025 at the age of 96. Joanne was known to many in the community for her 30 years of working at the Plumas County Clerk’s office.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, “Bud” Granville Kibbee, and daughter, Valerie. She is survived by her son Tom, daughter-in-law Karen, both of Bandon, Oregon, and her daughter Cindy, of Sacramento.
Joanne was a lifelong animal lover. Her family suggests donations be made to her favorite charity, PAWS of Quincy, as a remembrance of Joanne.
