Quincy Community Supper reports that the Feather River Co-op hosted the free meal Wednesday, Feb. 12. Volunteers served 125 meals of vegetarian pasta, garden salad and rosemary focaccia bread.
The Quincy Community Supper offers a meal with no charge the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Community United Methodist Church at 282 Jackson St. Serving the community since 2002, the supper is hosted by a rotating list of businesses, churches, service organizations, schools and offices.
The next supper will be held Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 6 p.m. Limited takeout is available at 6:30. Organizers invite everyone for food and fellowship.
