Organizers of the recently reactivated Portola Firewise Community invite interested members of the Portola community to attend a leadership team meeting Thursday, Feb. 27, at 5 p.m. at the Portola branch of the Plumas County Library. Anyone who lives within city limits and is interested in a leadership role in the organization is encouraged to attend.
This will be the group’s first team lead meeting since reactivation. Organizers say the goal this week will be to initiate a meeting schedule for the year and prioritize goals as written in the Community Action Plan.
