The Lake Almanor Area Chamber of Commerce reports that the weather prevailed and a good time was had by over 300 people at this year’s Chilly Chili Cook-Off hosted Feb. 15 by The Almanor Foundation. Guests tasted a selection of chili prepared by supportive businesses and organizations from the basin.
In the judges’ choice category, winners were:

- Second place: Elks Lodge
- Third place: Seneca Healthcare District
In the people’s choice category, winners were:
- First place: Seneca Healthcare District
- Second place: Clear Creek Reload
- Third place: Mill Creek Resort
