Members of Soroptimist International of Quincy announce they are hosting the annual Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds in Quincy. The event, which will be held rain or shine, is designed for children up to age 8.
Organizers report that families can start the day beginning at 10 a.m. with an Easter Bunny photo opportunity, then move on to egg hunting. Egg hunting is metered by age group with kids up to age 2 released at 11 a.m., 3- to 4-year-olds released at 11:10, 5- to 6-year-olds released at 11:20 and 7- to 8-year-olds released at 11:30.
