Quincy Community Supper reports that Quircus, Quincy’s community circus, hosted the March 12 supper. In keeping with the idea of a circus, volunteers brought their popcorn machine and served small bags of popcorn along with 119 meals of corn dogs, macaroni salad and green salad. Cookies rounded out the menu.

The Quincy Community Supper offers a meal with no charge the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Community United Methodist Church at 282 Jackson St. Serving the community since 2002, the supper is hosted by a rotating list of businesses, churches, service organizations, schools and offices.
The next supper will be held Wednesday, March 26, at 6 p.m. Limited takeout is available at 6:30. Organizers invite everyone for food and fellowship.
Questions regarding the supper, donations or signing up to volunteer may be directed to Angela Elliott at 530-283-1478.
