FRC men’s rodeo takes two firsts in Coalinga

Feather River College Athletics announces that the men’s rodeo program took two firsts at the West Hills Community College District Coalinga College Rodeo, held March 28. Golden Eagle Wyatt Coffman took first in saddle bronc, and he is currently in second place overall in season standings. In addition, the FRC men’s program took first place overall at the event.

The college also shares rankings from Allan Hancock College’s inaugural Spring Roundup College Rodeo, held March 29 and 30 in Santa Maria. Details from both events follow, along with current season standings.

Coalinga College Rodeo

  • FRC men: first place
  • FRC women: third place
  • All around: Wyatt Coffman, fourth
  • Saddle bronc: Wyatt Coffman, first
  • Tie-down roping: Joey Rawls, fourth; Brandon Low, eighth
  • Steer wrestling: Chance Pimentel, fourth; Cache Montgomery, sixth
  • Team roping: Rylie Mittel and Wyatt Coffman, eighth
  • Goat tying: Ava Solberg, fifth; Hailey Hicks, eighth

Spring Roundup College Rodeo

  • FRC men: fourth place
  • Saddle bronc: Wyatt Coffman, second
  • Steer wrestling: Chance Pimentel, fifth
  • Goat tying: Baylee Hughes, ninth
