Quincy Junior-Senior High School announces that local FFA students joined 7,000 other FFA members for the 97th annual California State Leadership Conference.
At the three-day event in Sacramento, students had the opportunity to listen to Dr. Rick Rigsby and Miss USA Alma Cooper give inspirational speeches. They also had the chance to hear from members of state agricultural and FFA staff, and participate in workshops to hone skills in leadership, teamwork and career readiness.
Most importantly, said their teachers, students were able to network and build relationships with chapters from around the state.
