Land trust celebrates volunteers

In recognition of National Volunteer Month in April and National Volunteer Day April 20, Feather River Land Trust invites the community to celebrate the nonprofit’s “incredible volunteers who support our mission across the watershed.”

From welcoming visitors to the Nature Center as a docent, labeling species on the botanical trail, photographing events or contributing to stewardship projects at one of FRLT’s five preserves, their efforts are integral to the land trust’s work, says FRLT.

“Today and every day, all year long, we celebrate and thank our hardworking volunteers who lend a hand to care for the people and places that make the Feather River watershed the place we know and love,” says FRLT.

Those interested in becoming volunteers for the land trust are invited to indicate what kind of volunteering they are interested in by filling out the volunteer interest form on the FRLT website.
