The Quincy Chamber of Commerce announces the launch the 2025 flower basket fundraiser with support from Plumas Arts. “This beloved annual tradition brings vibrant, blooming flower baskets to downtown Quincy, brightening our streets and lifting community spirit throughout the season,” said organizers.
The chamber reports that the goal this year is to raise $12,000 to fund the installation and maintenance of the displays. Baskets will be brought to town May 17.
Community members, businesses and organizations are encouraged to contribute. Sponsorships of $350 or more come with a personalized plaque placed beneath the sponsored basket for the entire season — organizers say this is a wonderful way to show community pride and support local beautification efforts. Donations of any amount are welcome and appreciated.
The chamber reports that all contributions will be accepted through Plumas Arts, allowing donors to take advantage of tax-deductible giving.
