Plumas National Forest reports that firefighters on the Mount Hough Ranger District completed ignitions on approximately 180 acres of planned prescribed burning April 23 and 24 in the Spanish Ranch area near Meadow Valley.
Though some smoke extended as far as Indian Valley and the Feather River Canyon, smoke dispersal was excellent, said PNF.
Firefighters have completed the operation with mop-up, patrol and monitoring to secure the treated area.
