Seneca Healthcare District has announced the schedule for Information Stations for the second half of the year. These open, informal public events are designed to keep the Lake Almanor Basin informed and engaged with the district’s latest developments.
Organizers promise that sessions will provide valuable updates on the new Lake Almanor Community Hospital build, introduce current primary care providers and cover other important health care initiatives impacting SHD. Each session will offer opportunities to speak with district leaders, pick up free items and resources and gain insight into the district’s strategic direction.
“Building on the continued success of these events, the Information Stations have proven to be an important tool for transparency, connection and education,” said SHD. “Residents and community members have attended past sessions to engage in meaningful conversations with Seneca’s executive leadership, ask questions, voice ideas and provide valuable feedback that drives Seneca initiatives.”
Upcoming Information Station dates are:
- Thursday, May 1, 9 a.m. at Almanor West Grill
- Thursday, June 5, 5 p.m. at Plumas Pines Resort Restaurant
- Friday, July 11, 5 p.m. at Elegant Farmer
- Friday, Aug. 8, 5 p.m. at Bailey Creek Golf Clubhouse
- Friday, Sept. 12, 5 p.m. at Waganupa Brewing

- Friday, Nov. 7, 11 a.m. at Blue Ox Coffee, Westwood
- Tuesday, Dec. 12, 11 a.m. at Seneca Healthcare Foundation office
“These events are a great opportunity for community members to stay connected and informed,” said Chelssa Outland, director of public relations. “As we work on building the new hospital and expanding awareness about primary care, it’s more important than ever for the public to understand how these efforts will improve their health and wellness.”
Seneca Healthcare District encourages all members of the community to attend, whether they have specific questions or simply want to stay up to date. More information is available from http://www.senecahospital.org or 833-227-3743, ext. 1600.
