Feather River Land Trust announces that its Sierra Valley Nature Preserve will host an upcoming concert produced by Musica Sierra. “A Season on the Wind” is set for Thursday, May 22. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with refreshments and the show starts at 7. Tickets cost $30 per person.
This cinematic concert features musicians Anthony Albrecht, Simone Slattery and Majel Connery, and is based on author, ornithologist and conservationist Kenn Kaufman’s book of the same name. This event is billed as “an inspiring ode to migratory birds, and an unforgettable night of musical storytelling.”
The event takes the audience on a 50-minute musical and visual journey from the shores of Lake Erie across the Americas with both visuals and soundscapes.
The nature center is located at 495 Beckwourth-Calpine Road in Beckwourth.
