Now available: $50 ‘locals only’ single-day High Sierra passes

The Quincy Chamber of Commerce announces a special deal for local residents to attend this year’s High Sierra Music Festival at a discounted rate of $50 a day. The 2025 High Sierra Music Festival will take place July 3-6 at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds.

The $50 locals’ passes represent a significant discount from regular prices, which range from $82.86 to $109.48 depending on the day. This discount is thanks to the efforts of the Quincy Chamber of Commerce, Ken Donnell and Backstage at MusicLand, in partnership with festival organizers. The local discount applies to adult day-use passes only; kids, VIP, parking and camping passes are available online at highsierramusic.com/tickets.

Locals’ passes are available exclusively in person at The Quincy Hub. To qualify for the discount, customers must prove residence in one of the following ZIP codes: 95915, 95923, 95934, 95936, 95947, 95956, 95971, 95980, 95981, 95983, 95984, 96020, 96103, 96105, 96106, 96118, 96122, 96124, 96126, 96129, 96135, 96137.

Acceptable documentation includes a current and unexpired driver’s license, state ID or recent mail showing the attendee’s name and physical address.

The Quincy Hub is located at 493 Main St. in Quincy and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Friday, May 23, The Hub switches to its summer store hours, from 10 p.m. to 6 p.m. Discounted ticket sales close at 6 p.m. June 28.
