Feather River College Athletics announces that two of its athletes will be heading to the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming, in June. Cody Russell will be competing in bull riding, and Wyatt Coffman in saddle bronc. FRC encourages the community to wish them luck.
The rodeo program wrapped up its season May 2 and 3 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Rodeo.
“We are very proud of our athletes this year, both in and out of the arena,” said the FRC rodeo coaches. “We fell just short of sending a full men’s team to the CNFR, had numerous wins and placings and watched all of our students grow as competitors and as people. We are excited to get back to the drawing board and grow our presence in the region next year!”
