Organizers report that Cal-Sierra Title Co. hosted the Quincy Community Supper on Wednesday, May 14, at the Methodist church. Volunteers served over 100 meals of shepherd’s pie with Caesar salad and rolls.
The Quincy Community Supper offers a meal with no charge the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Community United Methodist Church at 282 Jackson St. Serving the community since 2002, the supper is hosted by a rotating list of businesses, churches, service organizations, schools and offices.
The next supper will be held Wednesday, May 28, at 6 p.m. Limited takeout is available at 6:30. Organizers invite everyone for food and fellowship.
