Sheriff’s victim notification system back online

The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office announces that after several months of being offline, PCSO is back online with victim notification system Vinelink.

Vinelink — Victim Information and Notification Everyday — is a free service that allows the public to access real-time information about the custody status of offenders in the PCSO system. For concerned family members, victims and community members alike, Vinelink provides updates on an offender’s location, release date or transfer.

How to use Vinelink:

  • Visit https://vinelink.com or download the Vinelink app.
  • Create a free account or search directly by offender name or identification number.
  • Sign up for notifications to receive updates via email or text.

“We understand how important timely information is, and we’re committed to keeping our community informed and safe,” said PCSO. “Thank you for your patience during our downtime — we’re glad to be back online!”
