The Lake Almanor Area Chamber of Commerce invites the community to the new Main Street Market event, held on the second Friday of each month from June 13 through Oct. 10 between the hours of 4 and 7 p.m. This event replaces the previously held weekly Thursday farmers market in Chester Park.
The chamber is encouraging Main Street merchants to stay open late on second Fridays, and it offers pop-up spots for businesses without physical storefronts. These spaces measure 10 feet by 10 feet and are located at the corner of Main and Willow, 220 Main St. in Chester.
“Our goal is to create a visible presence that entices visitors entering town to stop, shop, dine and enjoy the unique offerings of the Lake Almanor area,” said the chamber. “Join us in fostering community spirit and supporting local commerce.”
