Quincy High students present their senior projects

Quincy Junior-Senior High School announces that the last week of May saw seniors conduct the culminating event of their senior year: senior presentations.

On Wednesday, students exhibited boards that outlined their project to the public at the Senior Expo, which served as the warmup for their presentations the following day. On Thursday, both staff and community members volunteered their time to judge the senior presentations. In just under 20 minutes, each senior explained the entire senior project process from planning to conclusion.

Organizers said Quincy High seniors did a fabulous job showcasing their year of hard work, with a diverse range of projects. Projects included the foundation of an American Sign Language club, becoming a certified nursing assistant, repairing the school’s baseball scoreboard, hosting a CPR class, providing equine therapy and much more.

“The seniors have once again made their school and their community proud, and will take the experiences gained from their senior project with them into their future endeavors,” said the school.
