Lost Sierra Food Project invites the community to Dancin’ in the Dirt on Tuesday, June 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Rugged Roots Farm in Quincy across from Gansner Airfield.
Dancin’ in the Dirt is a celebration of the first farm stand of the season and a fundraiser for Lost Sierra Food Project’s farm education and food access programs. This is the fourth year for this local event. Fish Tacos will be playing live music and food and beverages will be available for purchase from Souls BBQ, Quintopia Brewing and Lost Sierra Wine Co.

This is a family-friendly event with free kids’ activities hosted by LSFP’s farm educators. The first farm stand will also feature you-pick strawberries and early summer veggies for sale. Farm stands continue every Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. through October.
More information about the Plumas County nonprofit farm and its weekly summer farm stands and free workshops is available at https://www.lostsierrafoodproject.org/events-and-workshops.
