Riders from across region participate in IV Century Ride

The Rotary Club of Greenville reports that the 2025 Indian Valley Century Ride was a “tremendous success.” One hundred twenty-nine riders participated in the May 24 event, which offered three different route lengths.

The 25-mile quarter century ride saw 15 riders traveling from Greenville to Taylorsville and back. The 64-mile metric century included 39 riders going from Greenville to Genesee and back. The remaining 75 riders covering the 100-mile full century from Greenville all the way to and around Antelope Lake and back.

This was Greenville Rotary’s first time hosting the ride; it was last held in 2019 by the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce. Rotary wanted to be sure this was a community event and had great participation, said organizers.

Aid stations were hosted by the Indian Valley Recreation and Park District, Blue Star Moms, Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Grizzly Bite Café. An after-ride dinner was prepared and served by Indian Valley Academy’s culinary arts class and served in the high school.

Riders from throughout California, Nevada and Oregon and as far away as New York and Hawaii participated. Organizers said many local businesses sponsored the event, helping with the startup costs. The Rotary Club of Greenville said it is looking forward to welcoming even more riders to next year’s ride on May 23, 2026.
