Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship announces the successful completion of this year’s Earn A Bike Program. The program lets local kids earn a bike and helmet through participation in several Quincy-area activity sessions covering trail work, nature education, bike maintenance and riding skills.
Organizers say the program is designed to get local kids involved in trail stewardship “that will hopefully represent the beginnings of a long relationship with their public lands.”
“Earn A Bike is one of our absolute favorites every year and for good reason: Look at those smiles!” said SBTS. Upon completion of the activity sessions, participants earned a new mountain bike and helmet from Woom Bikes USA.
