James Wesley Cobb, a resident of Quincy, California, since 1996, was born Aug. 24, 1959, in Chico, California, and passed away at his home in Quincy March 28, 2025.
James enjoyed watching sports. Spending his childhood in the Bay Area, he specifically enjoyed the San Francisco 49ers and the San Francisco Giants. He also enjoyed watching old movies, including “The Wizard of Oz” and John Wayne’s “True Grit.”
James is survived by his mother Cathy, and stepdad John Houck; sister Cherie (brother-in-law Jerry); nephews Jonathan (wife Jenna), Jayden, and Eli; nieces Jenn (partner Jennifer), Courtney (husband Zach), and Kendall; great-niece Elaine Catherine; and stepsister Angela (husband Tony).
