Quincy theatre announces six plays in season lineup

Dramaworks announces that the West End Theatre in Quincy is presenting a record-breaking six shows in its 2025-2026 season. Season tickets are available to purchase online.

  • The season opens with the clever and fast-paced “Ms. Holmes and Ms. Watson Apt. 2B,” a sharp, contemporary twist on a classic partnership that celebrates friendship, brilliance and bold reinvention.
  • Next, “Bonnie and Clyde” brings a powerful score and a poignant narrative about two souls searching for meaning and legacy — a reminder that even flawed stories can be filled with heart.
  • Then, Tennessee Williams’ timeless classic “The Glass Menagerie” invites audiences to look inward through memory, fragility and the dreams we chase — or leave behind. “It’s a cornerstone of American theatre, and we’re honored to bring it to life on our stage,” said dramaworks.
  • As the holidays approach, “Miracle on 34th Street” reminds audiences of the magic that lives in believing — in goodness, in each other and in something just beyond what we can see. It’s a story of hope, perfect for the season of togetherness, say organizers.
  • In the spring, dramaworks lightens the stage with the joyful chaos of “Lend Me a Tenor,” where mistaken identities and theatrical mayhem prove that laughter is often the best cure for everything life throws at people.
  • Finally, the season closes with the bright, bold and irresistibly fun “Legally Blonde.” More than just a feel-good musical, this story serves as a reminder that strength comes in many forms — sometimes dressed in pink and armed with determination. “It’s the perfect finale to a season rooted in hope, and a reminder that believing in yourself is always in style,” said dramaworks.

Theatre organizers point out that a late-seating policy is in place for the season, to ensure the best possible experience for performers and patrons. They strongly suggest that ticket holders arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled performance time, which allows adequate time for ticket collection, refreshments and seating before the performance begins.

Latecomers will be admitted at the discretion of house management and only at a suitable break in the performance, as determined by the production team. This may mean a significant delay in seating, and in some cases, late seating may not be possible until intermission. For some productions, late entry may not be possible.
