The Sierra Institute for Community and Environment announces that the Sierra to California All Lands Enhancement annual meeting is set for July 24 and 25 this year.
The SCALE project brings together 15 to 18 collaboratives working to address landscape-scale restoration, community enhancement and resilience, say organizers: “Collaboration in forest management is vital in California.”
This year’s meeting is open to all landscape restoration stakeholders, practitioners, agency officials and others in California. Organizers say it will offer opportunities for sharing experience, advancing peer learning and collectively solving unique and common challenges through in-person networking and educational sessions.
The meeting will be held in person at the North Tahoe Event Center in Kings Beach. Tickets cost $185, which includes lodging, some meals and participation. Those for whom costs are a barrier are invited to reach out to Bella Bledsoe at [email protected] or Zach Browning [email protected] for potential accommodations. RSVPs for the event are available online.
