Feather River Land Trust announces that it will offer a botanical illustration workshop at the Sierra Valley Preserve Nature Center Sunday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets cost $40 per person, and there are 20 spots available.
Organizers say Annaliese Miller, scientific illustrator and graphic designer, and Jeannette Halderman, local botanist, will lead this informative and interactive workshop on botanical illustration from the perspectives of a botanist and an illustrator. All materials will be provided; however, participants are free to bring their own favorite pencils and/or drawing journals.
