Feather River Land Trust announces a free presentation entitled “Native Plant Communities in Montane Meadows: Adapting to Change.” The talk is set for Friday, July 25, at the Sierra Valley Preserve Nature Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the talk begins at 6.
Organizers report that local natural resources professional Terri Rust is set to share her observations of the response of montane meadow plant communities throughout the Sierra Nevada range after several years of extreme conditions from the perspective of meadow vulnerability and resilience at a landscape level.
