Plumas Bank hosts Quincy Community Supper

Plumas Bank hosted the Quincy Community Supper July 9. For the hot day, the menu included chicken Caesar salad, chips and salsa and watermelon. Volunteers served 100 meals in a little over an hour.

The Quincy Community Supper offers a meal with no charge the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Methodist church, 282 Jackson St. Serving the community since 2002, the supper is hosted by a rotating list of businesses, churches, service organizations, schools and offices.

The next supper will be on Wednesday July 23 at 6 p.m. at the Methodist Church. Limited takeout is available at 6:30. Organizers invite everyone for food and fellowship.

Questions regarding the supper, donations or signing up to volunteer may be directed to Angela Elliott at 530-283-1478.
