Hi! My name is Callie Steffanic, and I’m a member of Sierra Valley 4-H. This is my fourth year raising and selling an animal for the fair. I’m also the outgoing president of our club and will be the treasurer for the 2025-2026 year. I’m 12 years old and a junior leader for both our swine and dog groups.
I would like to invite you to the 2025 Plumas-Sierra County Junior Livestock Auction Sunday, July 27 at the fairgrounds in Quincy. The buyers’ breakfast and registration start at 7:30 a.m., and the auction begins at 9 a.m. It’s a great chance to support local youth and purchase high-quality meat raised by hardworking 4-H and Future Farmers of America members. These animals are raised right here in our community and make great additions to your freezer!
We’ve all put in lots of hours feeding, training and caring for our animals and we’d love for you to come see the results. You can also attend the livestock shows earlier in the week to cheer us on in the show ring.
