Wednesday July 9 Play Day
With the Independence Day holiday behind us, 23 GMGA players beat the coming heat and took part in a One Ball Odd-Both Balls Even and Skins game. The sunny and breezy day welcomed the following winners:
- First place: Mark Yuill and John Capdeville, 97
- Second place: Paul Senft and Mike Irving, 101
- Third place: Roger Ashby and Jack Gilbert, 104

Four individual skins were won by the following players:
- Mike Quesenberry, 2 on hole 4
- John Capedeville, 3 on hole 5
- Mark Yuill, 3 on hole 10 and 4 on hole 18
Thursday July 10 Mohawk Cup
The second leg of the four planned Mohawk Cup events with the GMGA and Whitehawk Ranch Golf men’s club took place on July 10. Sixteen players hit the Whitehawk course on this hot Thursday afternoon with the winners as follows:
- First place: Dan Anderson (GMGA) and Bill Peterson (Whitehawk), 60
- Second place: Travis Humphreys (GMGA) and Tom Canevari (Whitehawk), 61
- Third place: Mike Irving (GMGA) and Mark Verutti (Whitehawk), 63
Friday July 11 Play Day
The 90-degree weather did not deter the 27 players who took part in the July 11 GMGA Friday Play Day. The following teams sizzled their way to the winner’s circle after a One Best Ball and Skins game:

- Second place: Bob Laxague and David Goodwin, 62
- Third place: Dennis Flynn and John Capdeville, 65; Bill Harrison and Dan Anderson, 65; Mario Garibotti and Mr. Evans, 65

Sunday July 13 Jack and Jill tournament
Twenty eight teams (56 players) competed in the 2025 Jack and Jill tournament July 13. The tournament consisted of three flights of mixed teams (male/female) and a shotgun start at the Graeagle Meadows course. The winners were as follows:

- Second place: Dan Anderson and Holly Anderson, 76

A perfect summer day welcomed 20 GMGA players for an In the Box and Skins game July 16. The top teams came in as follows:

Twenty-Five GMGA golfers took to the course on Friday July 18 for a Best Ball on Front-Worst Ball on Back plus Skins game. The big winners on this sunny Friday were as follows (scores were not provided):
