Lassen Volcanic National Park invites the public to join its staff, volunteers and supporters for an evening of celebration at the annual Peak Experience Gala fundraiser Sept. 6 at 5:30 p.m. at The McConnell Foundation located at 800 Shasta View Drive in Redding.
The event helps fund interpretive and educational rangers and grants for at-risk youth camping at the Volcano Adventure Camp. This year’s theme, “Hats Off to Our Rangers,” will highlight the amazing people who manage parks, explore our national treasures, and teach the next generation about the importance of public lands.
The gala includes cocktails and a silent auction, followed by dinner and live auction. The meal is to be catered by C.R, Gibbs. Tickets are $75 and are available online at LassenParkFoundation.org.
