Strawberry Farm Fun Series, a fun, family-friendly series of events, starts Tuesday, July 29 at 5 p.m. at Evening Farm Stands, Lost Sierra Food Project reports.
Run by Farm Educator Jessica Ritchey, the strawberry extravaganza includes sprinklers set up for kids to run through and cool off while snacking on berries and learning about the role of water in growing food. Watering cans will also be provided for kids to go help water a strawberry plant. Additionally, the kids zone will have strawberry/water/farm related activity sheets.
Organizers recommend bringing either quick dry clothes and/or a change of clothes for wet kiddos.
