The Feather River Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation invites the community to its Elk Country Fundraiser, an evening of auctions, dinner, games and the chance to win prizes — all in support of elk, wildlife habitat and local hunting heritage.
The fundraiser will take place Sept. 6 at Serpilio Hall in the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds, 204 Fairgrounds Road in Quincy. Doors open at 5 p.m. Organizers promise a lively night filled with camaraderie and conservation: “Since 1984, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation has conserved more than 9 million acres of habitat, and this event helps continue that vital mission.”
Organizers point out that highlights of the evening include:
- The 2025 Banquet Edition Kimber 8400 Monarch .300 Win Mag
- Premium hunting and outdoor gear
- Firearms, guided hunts and exclusive prizes
- Sponsorship opportunities starting at $500
- Dinner prepared by Double Barrel Catering
- Fun, community and conservation
A variety of ticket options and table sponsorships are available, and guests can also save by purchasing giveaway packages ahead of time.
“This event is more than just a banquet — it’s an opportunity for our community to come together in support of wildlife conservation and our hunting heritage,” said RMEF Feather River Chapter volunteers. “We look forward to sharing an evening of great food, exciting auctions and the chance to make a lasting difference for elk and other wildlife.”
