Organizers report that the Aug. 13 Quincy Community Supper was hosted by LP Insurance. Volunteers served a taco salad with many toppings and cookies for dessert.
The Quincy Community Supper offers a meal with no charge the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Methodist church, 282 Jackson St. Serving the community since 2002, the supper is hosted by a rotating list of businesses, churches, service organizations, schools and offices.
The next supper will be held Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 6 p.m. Limited takeout is available at 6:30. Organizers invite everyone for food and fellowship.
