Awana kids’ program begins Sept. 3 at Graeagle church

The Graeagle Community Church announces that a Bible/Gospel-based program for kids is set to start Sept. 3.

Awana — Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed — is designed for children 3 years old through sixth grade. Within the Awana Club itself are three separate clubs: Cubbies for preschool children, Sparks for those in kindergarten through second grade and T&T — Truth and Training — for those in third through sixth grades.

An evening at Awana includes game time; large group time, which includes a Bible lesson; and small group time, which includes memorization of scripture and Bible study.

The Awana program at Graeagle Community Church meets on Wednesdays September through April. The evening begins with a light dinner at 5:30, followed by club time from 6 to 7:30. Organizers point out that the clubs are led by qualified members of the church.

The Awana Club program is open to everyone. Registration forms are available online.

Further information is available from the church via email at [email protected] or phone at 530-836-2405.
