Lost Sierra Food Project reports that it is hosting a farm event this evening featuring pick-your-own opportunities and special deals. “Last night, an incredible storm forced us to shut down our farm stand early for the second week in a row,” said organizers. “But we still have an abundance of berries, flowers and fresh produce. So we’re getting creative and having an impromptu u-pick night tonight!”

From 5 to 7 p.m., participants can pick their own berries and flowers for the special rate of $5 per pound of berries and $5 per bouquet. They should bring a container to weigh berries in. Friends and family are welcome.
Lost Sierra Food Project’s farm, Rugged Roots, is located across from Gansner Airfield in Quincy.
