Soroptimist International of Quincy reports that a garage sale fundraiser will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, at Feather Publishing, 287 Lawrence St. in Quincy, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The fundraiser will include furniture, electronics, clothing, toys and games, home goods and books and media. Organizers promise that in addition to great prices, quality items and a friendly atmosphere, there will be food and beverages, a giveaway drawing to win a gift basket filled with goodies, and an early bird welcome beginning at 7:30 a.m.
The Soroptimist fundraiser supports local women’s awards and recognition, senior scholarships and community service awards. Proceeds from the fundraiser also support annual projects, including the Community Sing and the Easter egg hunt.
