Chester Junior-Senior High School announces it is seeking gently used formal dresses in a campaign called Vic’s Closet Dress Drive.
Organizers report that dresses will be used by students in the community to wear to school dances like prom and Homecoming. “If you have a dress that’s in great condition and deserves a second chance to make someone feel beautiful, please consider donating,” they say. “Your contribution can make a big difference for our students who need it!”
Donated dresses should be clean. They can be gently used or brand new.
Donations can be dropped off in the high school’s front office at 612 First St. Donations are accepted at any time, but organizers suggest donors drop off as soon as possible so that students can have many options to choose from. The school’s first dance is Homecoming, which is set for Oct. 17.
